Vue du Château d’Excideuil offers guest rooms and furnished holiday rentals (gîtes), in accordance with the French Tourism Code and Civil Code.
This activity is not classified as “chambres d’hôtes” under Article L324-3 of the Tourism Code, but falls under the short-term furnished rental regime (Article L324-1-1 of the Tourism Code).
4. Booking Conditions
Reservations are made online via our secure payment system (Stripe). Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, accommodation services provided on a specific date are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
- Cancellation between 7 and 2 days before arrival: 50% of the amount retained
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the amount retained
Date changes are possible up to 48 hours before arrival, subject to availability and at no extra charge.
5. Tourist Tax
In accordance with Article L2333-26 of the General Code of Local Authorities, a tourist tax applies. The amount is set by the local authority and will be added to your booking price.
6. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978:
